Guest lecturing & speaking

My dad was once a grumbly PhD hopeful who really enjoyed TAing and teaching. I think Inherited a bit of that energy.

When I was in college, I had no idea how anything we were learning would relate to the real world. Many professors spoke in abstract academic terms. But I had a few that were adjunct that were out there doing their job while teaching us. They made concepts real and relevant, and that’s what I want to do for anyone I talk to. I was also once a TA in undergrad in a class on popular culture and developing television shows.

I’ve been invited to give guest talks on various facets of communications at Columbia, Northwestern, Benedictine College, Marquette, local community colleges, and more. I like chaotic and casual slides, and tell fun stories.

Hit me up if you think I might be somehow qualified to talk to your students too.
